Retail Safari is a retail panorama exploration game, designed to inspire innovative Retail Services and Store Experiences. It takes you on a tour of Milan inspiring shopping locations, tailor made to provide insights useful to innovate Retail Services and Store Experiences in your business. Our aim is to help you look at retail with a different set of eyes. Retailers synthesize bets on the future of the business crowd taken on aggregate: they express the vision of what entrepreneurs think is significant to todays customers and to customers of the near future. Besides existing retailers represent advanced standards in respect of which we set the challenge to innovate product, services an customer experiences.

During our Retail Safari, learning by doing, you are invited to discover the most innovative locations resonating with socio-cultural drivers that could affect the expectations of store experience of the product/service category you are trying to innovate. Every participant of the tour becomes Ethnographer for one day because of participating observation that leads to the immersion into the visited locations, while sharing this experience with each other and nourishing lateral thinking and creativity.

The purpose of the game is to find clues. Clues will help you discovering the ways in which each retailer creates value for their customers by implementing (realizing and communicating) new meanings and experiences. What is clue? The clues we will be hunting may be of varying nature. We will consider valid whatever is a valid clue to you. We just need you to provide us with evidences: pictures or notes. Anything can be a clue if it helps you answering one of thee questions: What is the meaning proposed by the Retailer? What makes the customer journey organized by the Retailer meaningful to customers? Through which solutions and atmospheres does the Retailer concretize the proposed meaning?
